Requirements / Qualifications
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIREMENT -Possession of a valid California Registered Nurse license. -Possession of a valid California credential authorizing service as a school nurse OR able to meet the requirements to apply for one. -Must possess, or be willing to obtain, AHA/CPR Instructor’s Certification. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION -Two years of experience as a nurse, preferably in a school or pediatric care setting performing specialized services in student health and welfare programs.
