Job Summary
The Multiple Subject Alternative High School Teacher is employed by John Muir Charter Schools (JMCS) and is responsible for classroom instruction of youth and young adults participating in the Richmond YouthBuild. Richmond YouthBuild and JMCS’s innovative education programs are designed to provide youth, ages 16-25, with an engaging educational experience that meets individual needs. We combine classroom-based instruction, project work, credit recovery, life skills, technical job training and other academic experiences into a highly personalized high school diploma program. Classroom activities are combined with top notch vocational training in the field of construction, provided by Richmond YouthBuild (RichmondBUILD).

Resume, Cover Letter, Credential Copy, 2 Letters of Recommendation California Multiple Subject Credentials preferred, California Single Subject Credential in any subject eligible, English Learner Authorization (CLAD or other) or ability to obtain one required.
