Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Principal (or Designee) and the Assistant Principal of Student Affairs the School Social Worker Lead will provide guidance and support for the District Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). The School Social Worker Lead will assist with triage, training, and modeling to support school staff when students are in social, emotional and/or behavioral crisis. The School Social Worker Lead will provide a full range of positive behavioral interventions and supports including assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, case management, school-based wraparound services and community linkages.

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants are required to hold a valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work issued by the State of California, Bachelor’s Degree, Masters Degree in Social Services (MSW) and bilingual.
