Education and Experience A bachelor's degree with coursework in accounting, business administration, or a related field AND three years of experience preparing and processing payroll in an automated system, including one year of experience training, leading, or supervising others, preferably in a district-level school setting OR An associate degree with coursework in accounting, business administration, or a related field AND four years of experience preparing and processing payroll in an automated system, including one year of experience training,leading, or supervising others, preferably in a district-level school setting OR A high school diploma or equivalent AND five years of experience preparing and processing payroll in an automated system, including one year of experience training, leading, or supervising others, preferably in a district-level school setting.

PURPOSE
To establish a list of eligible candidates that will be used to fill current and future vacancies (full and part-time) for the duration of the list, up to one year. The upcoming vacancy is a 12-month, full-time (8 hours/day) position located in the Fiscal Department, at the District Office in Simi Valley, CA.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Completed applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on June 5, 2023. Late applications and/or certificates will not be accepted.
TESTING PROCESS:
A) Evaluation of Training and Experience (T&E) = Qualifying (pass/fail).
Tentatively scheduled for the week of 6/5-6/9.
B) Structured Interview = 100% weighting on final score
Tentatively scheduled for the week of 6/12.
Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications stated in the job posting by the application deadline in order to move forward in the testing process. Those applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will have their application materials reviewed by a screening committee that will evaluate the training and experience of each applicant as it relates to the areas assessed in the supplemental questions. Those with the highest scores on the T&E will be invited to the structured interview. The testing process is subject to change as needs dictate. All communication regarding this process will be delivered via email.
