Position: IEP Clerk Location: Westchester, near LAX Reports to: Director of Special Services Fair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-exempt Work Class: Classified Capacity: Full-time at 40 hours/week Skills/Traits/Qualifications WISH is seeking a candidate with the following skills: Highly organized Detail-oriented Flexible Effective and proactive communication skills across a variety of stakeholders (i.e. parents, teachers, school administrators, service providers) Bilingual - Spanish Please provide your resume with this application. Position Description
WISH is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and highly detail-focused individual to be a part of a team of professionals working to provide a challenging and inclusive education for students with disabilities. We are looking for an individual with a passion for supporting systems, working with a diverse group of stakeholders, and supporting teachers and families of children with disabilities. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys: working with others, organizing & tracking important paperwork, helping teachers and families schedule important meetings; someone who communicates proactively and loves color coding! The person who takes this position will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate timely and compliant special education-related matters. The IEP Clerk will support the special education program for grades TK-12 across our 2 campuses by scheduling IEP meetings, coordinating IEP documents, and ensuring IEPs are presented to parents and signed in a timely manner.
