Job Summary
This position will be offered on a temporary contract to non-tenure track applicants. POSITION CRITERIA: The most qualified candidates will meet the following criteria: • Teaching experience in the defined grade level desirable • Works collaboratively with the grade level team to implement the PLC model • Incorporates effective strategies to enhance academic language for all student, especially English learners • Adjusts and differentiates instruction using formative assessment data to meet a variety of student needs • Aligns curriculum with CA State Standards • Values and models use of small group instruction • Knowledge and experience working with special needs, inclusion students • Values using and modeling instructional technology in the classroom • Expertise in Google Suite as a format for teaching • Teacher Leader, PLC model, Smarter Balance Testing and Common Core experience • Possess a growth mindset
Requirements / Qualifications
Must possess or a valid California credential authorizing the credential holder to provide service to children at the elementary grade level.
