Requirements / Qualifications

Single Subject PE or Multiple Subject with Supplemental in PE English Language Authorization (ELA 1, ELAE, CLAD or CCSD/SDAIE). When submitting an application, please submit the CTC version with detailed view of all authorizations. References and Letters of Recommendation should be from an evaluating administrator when possible.

Description of position: Itinerant role, working with 3-4 elementary schools Collaborate with other elementary PE teachers to plan developmentally appropriate lessons for each grade level to be implemented across the district Work with a team of three instructional assistants, delivering 45 minutes lessons to approximately 75-125 students, by grade level (TK – 5) Deliver Physical Education lessons/program with a Social Emotional Focus, connecting to the four themes of the SEL curriculum, Second Step: Growth Mindset and Goal Setting Emotion Management Empathy and Kindness Problem Solving
