Job Summary
This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. The SAFE After School Coordinator runs the SAFE program and manages the attendance and enrollment paperwork associated with the job. The coordinator works with children in the After School program in grades TK-8. The position hours are from 1 pm to 6 pm Monday through Friday (5 hrs). The coordinator is in charge of the program activities and classroom management for all students and staff in SAFE. The hours include prep time for administration of the program.

The position works under the direction of the Superintendent/Principal or designee and is responsible for supporting a safe and positive environment, maintaining program records, assisting with student supervision, communicating with families, supporting staff, and helping provide recreational, academic, enrichment, and intervention activities.
Employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint/background clearance, TB clearance, health screening, and required CPR/First Aid certification. The District may consider related experience working with students in a school, childcare, recreation, afterschool, or youth program setting.
