Griffin Technology Academies (GTA Schools) is a network of 4 charter schools in Vallejo, California, that focuses on providing students with a high-quality education in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. The first GTA charter, Mare Island Technology Academy Middle and High Schools, was founded in 2001, later adding Griffin Academy Middle and High Schools in 2018. GTA Schools serve students in grades 6-12. Griffin Technology Academies offer a variety of programs and services designed to support students in achieving academic success. These include: small class sizes, personalized instruction, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities like burgeoning athletic programs, before and after school care programs, early college (dual enrollment, articulation, concurrent enrollment), AVID, and CTE courses. The schools also provide students with access to technology resources, including laptops and tablets. Students in high school also have opportunities for community service, internships, and career exploration experiences coordinated through GTA’s Work-Based Learning (WBL) program. Job Summary
The Office Manager performs a wide variety of clerical and technical tasks involving support for various school departments; coordinates the duties of student workers and volunteers; assigns work flow; supports day-to day school activities and compliance requirements; conveys information regarding school functions and procedures to teachers and staff; acts as liaison between the school and other parties, providing information, addressing issues and/or providing general support; performs the school’s communication and informational tasks (e.g., compile, edit, translate, post, email and print the daily bulletin, weekly announcements, monthly newsletter, marquee, information call-out system and school’s approved social media.)

Founded in 1999, GTA schools now serve 1,250 students (growing to 1,900 by 2023) and have proven that all students can excel, given high expectations and high levels of support in an inclusive and equitable environment.
