PROGRAM SUMMARY Plaza de la Raza Child Development Services, Inc. (Plaza) is a comprehensive early childhood education program with a focus on school readiness for children zero to five years of age. Developmentally appropriate services are provided for children from low-income families, zero to five years of age. Plaza de la Raza currently serves over 700 children and their families. SUMMARY OF DUTIES The Accountant III position is under general direction, this position organizes, coordinates, and leads the work of clerical and technical accounting personnel; prepares complex financial and accounting report and studies, coordinates annual audit with independent auditors and conducts internal audits of accounting standards and practices and issues recommendations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A. Education Baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. B. Experience Three (3) years of general professional accounting, budgeting, and auditing experience is required. Some experience in a lead capacity is desirable.
