Dean of Student Engagement and Middle School Math Teacher The Dean of Student Engagement is responsible for the development and enhancement of, and communication connected to the Rhoades School's Social Community. The Dean of Student Engagement ensures meaningful and engaging, student-centered extracurricular and social and emotional learning opportunities are delivered to our students. The Dean of Student Engagement is a thought leader within the School who helps to identify strategic initiatives and develop plans of implementation. This dynamic, forward-thinking leader collaborates with departments across the school and reports directly to the Middle School Principal. This position will also teach 2 periods of middle school math. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Communicate effectively and proactively with parents regarding upcoming student programming and events • Help plan and chaperone middle school student events • Coordinate advisory program in collaboration with Middle School Principal • Oversee day to day disciplinary issues in the Middle School working closely with faculty and staff to ensure compliance with school policies • Keep accurate records on student discipline • Communicate clearly and in a timely fashion both verbally and in writing with students parents, and appropriate school staff regarding any disc
