Seeking an enthusiastic and energetic replacement in a two-person agriculture department. Courses to be taught could include Agriculture Mechanics 1, 2, Agriculture Wood Working. 1, 2, and Farm to Table. If qualified, courses could also include; Agriculture Science courses. The position is 11th month and includes an FFA stipend. VCHS has an on-campus school farm with beef, sheep, goats, rabbit, and chicken facilities as well 1 greenhouse , 1 shade house and growing grounds. In addition, the instructor will be involved in FFA student leadership development, SAE project supervision, and CDE coaching.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must possess or be eligible for a California Single Subject Credential: Agriculture or Multiple Subject Credential with a Supplemental Authorization in Agriculture or CTE Credential in Agriculture and Natural Resources. Must possess EL Authorization.

(3) District approved Master & Doctoral degrees will receive a $ 2,083 stipend annually. (4) This position is on an 11 month calendar, and therefore, in order to properly calculate the annual salary, take the annual salary listed in #2 divide it by 10 (standard teacher work schedule - # of months) and multiplying it by 11 (number of months this position works).
