Applicants must be currently assigned as a teacher of JCCS.</p> In addition to regularly assigned classroom responsibilities, the Head Teacher will provide support to the on-going development and improvement of the instructional program and professional learning for the Juvenile Court and Community Schools program at the assigned site.
Requirements / Qualifications
This is an internal only recruitment limited to current employees of the San Diego County Office of Education. This recruitment is limited to current, permanent teachers currently working with JCCS. Head Teacher vacancies currently exist at the following sites: East Region (1) South Region (1) North Region (1) Metro Region (4) - including (1) dedicated at 37ECB San Pasqual Academy (1) Monarch - K thru 5 (1) Monarch - Middle School) (1) Monarch - High School (1) East Mesa (1) Youth Transition Center/Kearny Mesa (1) Special Education/Itinerant (1) Education and Experience requirements: Valid California Credential(s) to meet the requirement of the assignment and two years teaching experience; Common Core State Standards (CCSS) training and on-line module completion is also required. Leading Edge Certification preferred.
