Job Summary

Sycamore Community School is seeking an elementary teacher to join our small, private-school learning community located in downtown Santa Monica. We are a small, independent school established by a group of educators who came together around a common set of principles about what school should be for students and families. We are currently serving children in kindergarten through 6th grades, with plans to extend through 8th grade. We enjoy small class sizes taught by highly skilled instructors. The successful candidate will maintain a positive learning environment in their classroom and plan. They should be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, administration, and if applicable outside professionals, as well be dynamic and adaptable to a changing work environment.
