ASSIGNMENT: District Service Facilities - 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, twelve (12) months per year. Regularly assigned shift is: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine grounds maintenance, landscaping, operation and servicing of medium to heavy grounds equipment.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; DMV report (DMV Driver's Record no more than 30 days old); Qualified Applicator Certificate desirable
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent; Groundskeeper I: At least one year in operation and maintenance of medium to heavy equipment, with mechanical experience. One year of farming related experience fertilizing, seeding, spraying, pruning, irrigating and planting may be substituted for the above requirement. Groundskeeper II: Three years of general landscaping, grounds maintenance, soil care, and operation, use and minor maintenance of medium to heavy equipment. May substitute one year of any combination of the above with no less than one (1) year minor mechanical repairs. Three years farming related experience fertilizing, seeding, spraying, pruning, irrigating and planting may be substituted for the above requirement. Qualified Applicator Certificate desirable.
