Job Summary
Under general supervision: to provide students with an attractive, safe and natural environment in which to learn. Plan, perform custodial and light maintenance work at Biggs High School; drive a van route; and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements / Qualifications
Must have: A Valid Class C Driver's License 1) knowledge of modern cleaning methods, materials and equipment used in custodial and light maintenance, and grounds care, 2) knowledge of the use of basic mechanical tools in performing minor repairs, 3) the ability to operate heating and ventilating equipment, 4) ability to lift sixty pounds from ground level to table top level, 5) ability to climb ladders and assemble and work on scaffolding up to two stories high, 6) completed the twelfth grade or equivalent, 7) the ability to read, write and follow oral instructions and work cooperatively with others and independently. 8) knowledge of safe driving practices that are applicable to the operation of vehicles in transporting school children
