We seek our next Human Resources Director in Portland, Oregon. Centennial School District, located on the eastern side of Portland, seeks a skilled and experienced human resources leader to guide an exceptional team focused on recruiting and retaining top talent, supporting innovation, and advancing equity in our organization. The Director of Human Resources is a key member of the administrative team, and reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent. We seek a visionary, strategic, and empowering leader, filled with integrity and respect for others, someone who understands the impact HR can make in cultivating talent and creating a thriving workplace culture. Our HR team facilitates critical work, from diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives to recruitment, hiring, and retention to mentoring programs. Requirements / Qualifications

Our successful candidate will bring:

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: public education, collective bargaining and contract administration, or human resources;
  • Broad knowledge and experience in the areas of employment law, compensation, collective bargaining, organization planning, employee relations and training.

Credential Requirements
  • Oregon Administrator License, or eligible to attain one.
