Candidate must have: • Fingerprints on file (DOJ & FBI) • Current TB Test Result • CPR/First Aid certification (online courses are not acceptable) • Successfully completed ALL of the following courses for clearance: Fundamentals of Coaching Course, Concussion, Protecting Students from Abuse and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificates from www.nfhslearn.com. • Certification (Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate of Completion) • Letter of Introduction (Five Year Athletic Plan) • Resume (Current and Up to Date)

• Knowledge and competency related to care and prevention of athletic injuries, basic first aid and emergency procedures.
• Knowledge and competency in coaching theory and techniques in the sport being coached.
• Knowledge and competency in the rules and regulations of the sport, state, section, league, and district policies.
• Knowledge of psychology of the adolescent or child.
• Knowledge of the Code of Ethical Conduct.
