Vacancies exist for Title 1 Summer School Teachers at Channel Islands, Hueneme, Oxnard, Pacifica and
Rio Mesa.
Regular Education:
In person Learning: ELD, Math, CyberHigh/OxnardOnline
Knowledge of working with Newcomers to the country, SLIFE (Students with Limited, Interrupted or no Formal Education) English Learners (ELD), Long Term English Learners (LTELs) and Migrant students
Knowledge of language development and instructional strategies for various types of English learners to support them in Spanish and in their English development
Familiar with Cyberhigh, Rosetta Stone and Canvas platform
Prefer Bilingual/Spanish
In order to be eligible for a summer school assignment, you must be fully credentialed and trained in the program area and course which you are applying for and attend summer school mandatory meetings. If you apply for a position for which you are not credentialed and/or trained, your application will be denied.
POSITION AVAILABILITY IS CONTINGENT UPON ADEQUATE STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND STUDENT NEEDS.
JOB SHARE IS NOT AN OPTION.

TIME: 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM with 30 Minutes Lunch | Monday - Friday
SALARY: $66.02 Hourly
MANDATORY MEETINGS: Summer School Site Administrator will contact staff for date and time. There will be an additional Title 1 orientation. Participants will be compensated.
