Job Summary

Job Summary

Center Coordinator provides the primary clerical and administrative support for an assigned learning center. Meets with enrolling students and parents, answers phones, explains company programs, inputs student information, and provides support for teachers and mentor teachers. Orders curriculum supplies and maintains office inventory. The primary goal of this position is to support and carry out the instructional leadership team goals of 100% student retention and all charters achieving a 9 or 10 compared to similar schools in a statewide average. This position provides direct instructional support.

Our ideal candidate will:

 

  • Maintain center waiting list and conducts public random drawing to select eligible students for enrollment when space becomes available

  • Assist with marketing the program

  • Meet and greet students and potential students as they enter centers

  • Manage paperwork, scheduling, calling, and set-up for all student orientations, testing, and designated SGI classes

  • Administer, scores, and schedules all assessments for student placement including, but not limited to the pre and post tests, graduation proficiency tests, and computer proficiency survey when applicable

  • Maintain inventory and orders center office supplies, curriculum materials, and designated center and student forms

 

You’ll need the following minimum requirements:

 

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required

  • One year experience in an administrative capacity preferred

 

Hourly Range:

$22.86 - $34.29 Depending on Experience

Comments and Other Information

Bilingual Spanish preferred, additional $.50 stipend paid per hour. This position is needed as additional support, hours for this position are not guaranteed, TOC (Temporary/On call). Anticipated schedule is Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. There are 4 school sites within the Inland Empire region, this position may be used at whichever school site needs additional support for the day but is anticipated to predominantly assist at the Fontana 1 school site. School sites within the Inland Empire region include: Fontana 1, Fontana 2, Rancho Cucamonga, and Upland.
