EDUCATION: Verification of a High School diploma, a GED certificate, or a higher degree is required at time of employment. Coursework in basic computer applications, data entry, record management, and general office practices is desirable. CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENT: For school site positions, verification of a current First Aid certificate issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association is required at time of employment, and must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.

FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION
Individuals who have completed course work at an institution in a country other than the United States must obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts/degrees, prior to applying for a position, and attach a copy to the application electronically. The foreign transcripts must be evaluated by one of the approved organizations, listed on the Rialto Unified School District website, in order to be accepted. These organizations are private enterprises who charge a fee for their services. Individuals pursuing a foreign transcript evaluation must follow the procedures outlined by the organization providing the evaluation. In all instances, original, official documentation will be required when requesting the evaluation.
Note: To obtain examination credits, veterans must electronically attach a copy of a DD214 (proof of service and/or disability) verification to the application.
