Action Day School's West Valley Middle School offers a rich educational experience to children emphasizing small class sizes and a hands-on approach to learning. Our school offers a variety of extracurricular activities within our regular program including Spanish, Dance, PE, daily electives, an all-inclusive sports program, and Life-Skill education. Students at West Valley Middle School have access to the latest in technology including Apple TV’s and an iPad for every student. In addition, our school offers extended day programs from 7:00 am-6:00 pm and we are open for non-academic days. All students are warmly accepted and guided along their educational path throughout our program. Bullying and "slipping through the cracks" simply do not happen at our school due to our small, family-like atmosphere. Students are held to high standards while enjoying school. As a result, our 8th-grade graduates go on to schools such as Archbishop Mitty, St. Francis, Notre Dame, Bellermine, and many others. We recognize the essential foundation of any school is its staff. We are proud of our heart-centered, creative, and committed teachers and school administrators who carefully challenge, respect, and encourage each child as a unique individual. The position of Full-Time Middle School Teacher will be teaching English, Math, and/or Science lessons to our 5th-8th grade classes.

Our ideal candidate will come to us with: 3-5 years of teaching experience Bachelor’s degree Current Teaching Credential (preferred) Masters in Education or Related Field (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills
