Job Summary
Job Summary
Byron Union School District is seeking candidates interested in serving in our Summer School program. The Summer School Office Manager will be responsible for supporting all Summer School programs at our Discovery Bay campus. Program dates will be June 9 - July 10, 2023. No school will be observed on Monday June 19th for the Juneteenth federal holiday and the 4th of July (Independence Day). Approximate work hours will be 7:30 am - 1:30 pm. The position will be offered internally to existing BUSD staff but BUSD reserves the right to seek candidates from outside BUSD if the need arises or if there are no interested candidates from BUSD’s existing staff.

QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of: · Office methods and practices, including filing systems, receptionist and telephone techniques and letter and report writing · Correct English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation · Common office machines and some skill in operation Ability to: · Assume responsibility and use good judgment · Learn and interpret District and school rules, policies, and regulations · Meet the public tactfully and courteously · Perform responsible clerical work · Type at a speed of 50 wpm
