Requirements / Qualifications
All Nutrition Services Assistant I position are 181 work days per year. Glenmeade Elementary School, 2 hours per day, hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11 AM to 1 PM AND Thursday 10 AM to 12 PM. Liberty Elementary School, 2 hours per day, hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11 AM to 1 PM AND Tuesday 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Walnut Elementary School, 3.5 hours per day. Hours: Monday through Friday 7 AM to 8 AM; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10:30 AM to 1 PM AND Tuesday 9 AM to 11:30 AM.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS/ATTACHMENTS: * Two (2) current letters of recommendation. Letters from relatives are not acceptable. * High School diploma or its equivalent. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: An offer of employment in this classification is contingent upon passing a physical examination AND obtaining a San Bernardino County Food Handler Card. REQUIREMENTS: Basic kitchen skills. Experience in kitchen work and serving is desirable. High School diploma or its equivalent, preferably supplemented by courses in cafeteria management, menu planning, dietetics, safety and sanitation, and related subjects.
