We are a highly reputable Christian Preschool in Rancho Santa Margarita, known for our academic and play-based Christian program. We are looking for a preschool/Pre-K teacher to join our team. Teachers will enjoy small class sizes, engaged students, and a welcoming community. Enjoy working with children ages 3-5 years old - love for children is a must! Be willing to work Monday - Friday - between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Must have completed 12 units in Early Childhood Education or currently in a program to achieve this. Provide a loving classroom environment that supports children’s emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively and maintain a positive rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrate a positive attitude, appropriate level of flexibility, and dependability. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintains professionalism through positive and professional behavior both on and off-campus, and follows policies and procedures set forth by the school and accreditation. May serve as the substitute teacher on occasion. Have a personal relationship with God Be CPR and First Aid certified. Health insurance (if you average 30/hrs per week for 12 months). Education and/or Experience: 12 Core Early Childhood Units preferred: Child/Human Growth and Development Child, Family, and Community Programs/Curriculum Infant/Toddler
