Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Education Administrator I of the Program Quality Implementation Central Office, the incumbent works cooperatively with program units and managers throughout the California Department of Education (CDE). The incumbent is responsible for working collaboratively with State Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten programs funded by federal and/or state funds, and works collaboratively to support implementation of high quality and inclusive educational settings. The incumbent serves in an educational leadership role for promoting quality early education program implementation at the local, regional, and state levels. Extensive travel is required for this position.
This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule for eligible applicants residing in California. A hybrid telework schedule includes working remotely and physically reporting to the office.
