Job Summary
Venture is an online program that caters to the evolving needs of the 21st century student. The Venture Online Instructional Aide will meet with small groups and teachers whom they directly work with in a virtual setting. We are looking for an Instructional Aide to work with 9-12 grade students. Qualified candidates should have experience working with high school aged students and have a genuine belief in the ability of each student. They should demonstrate commitment to collaboration and an interest in and willingness to utilize learning strategies that personalize instruction. See job description for more information.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or the equivalent; and 2 years of college (48 units + ), or Associate's degree (A. A.) or higher; Pass a local assessment of reading and math skills. Tutoring experience and/or working students preferred. Experience working online within a classroom setting and small groups preferred.
Competency test will be administered to all qualified applicants. Must apply through EdJoin and upload attachments named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) in order to be considered for this position.
