Site-Supervisor for Pre-School Program Stella Maris Academy at Star of the Sea Parish has an exciting opening for a passionate and engaging early childhood educator who shares our school vision of forming young minds and hearts through a classical and Montessori-inspired curriculum for the journey of life. We are committed to providing our students with a rigorous, integrated, and authentic Catholic education. We seek educators who have a background in the liberal arts, a passion for sharing their faith with young people, and a talent for engaging and helping students to grow in the classroom. Under the supervision of the Head of School, the Preschool Site Supervisor coordinates daily operations of one or more preschool classes and the extended care program in accordance with Archdiocesan policy, the school’s mission and curriculum, and Community Care Licensing Requirements. In addition, the Site Supervisor will teach in the Pre-K classroom. Ideal candidates should have • Knowledge of the Montessori approach • 3-4 years prior preschool teaching experience • Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or Children's Center Supervision Permit with required ECE & administrative coursework • Bachelors degree • CPR/First Aid • Know and love the teachings of the Catholic Church and desire to grow in faith and knowledge among a community of lifelong learners • Possess a growth mindset and willingness to collaborate with others • strong written and oral communication skills Pay-range: $50K - 80K PLEASE SUBMIT RESUME, COVER LETTER, AND REFERENCES TO: Gavin T.
