Job Summary
A short term assignment athletic team coach is a non-certificated employee hired to supervise or instruct interscholastic athletic activities as a temporary employee in a limited assignment capacity. (Authority cited: California Code of Regulations, Section 5590)
Requirements / Qualifications
Must possess current First Aid and CPR certifications, US Cheer or AACCA certification and valid California driver's license. NOTE: VALID COPIES OF FIRST AID CERTIFICATION, CPR CERTIFICATION, AACCA OR US CHEER CERTIFICATION AND CALIFORNIA DRIVER'S LICENSE MUST BE INCLUDED WITH APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Must have experience working with adolescents in an organized setting. High School Varsity experience or College or Minor League experience preferred. Must be knowledgeable in the care and prevention of athletic injuries, basic sports first aid and emergency procedures. Must be competent in child or adolescent psychology as it relates to sports participation. Must know, or demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn all CIF rules and/or Federation rules pertaining to the sport. Must have knowledge of team rules and regulations.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (Must be valid and include First Aid / AED is not the equivalent. (Expired certificates will not be accepted))
- Driver's License Copy (Valid Driver's License (Expired licenses will not be accepted))
- Other (US Cheer or AACCA certification)

Stipend paid at $15.50/hr. Salary Schedule $1,860 paid in 4 equal payments.
