The Border Region Inclusive Talent Pipeline Collaborative is a team of education, workforce, and economic development and industry stakeholders committed to improving the K-16 education system in Border Region. This position will support the implementation of the California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI) and DEI work of the projects with all participating LEAs in the San Diego and Imperial region by strengthening pathways to build a representative talent pipeline in business, tech, health and the education sectors. Candidates with knowledge and experience with CCGI, California CTE Model Curriculum Standards, elements of high quality CTE programs, early college credit, and regional College and Career Readiness collaboration are preferred.

Requirements / Qualifications

-Must have a valid teaching credential authorizing services to be performed and five full years of full time K-12 school district, county office, college or university work experience in a lead position. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse culture of high school and community college students. -K-12 advising, career pathway, and/or grant experience. -Experienced working with diverse populations. -Knowledge of K12 School Districts, career education and student management software, systems with an excellent computer skill set. -Must be skilled in networking and building relationships, planning and coordinating events, conducting meetings and facilitating group workshops, while managing projects independently as you strategically align stakeholders in developing a shared vision. -Ability to create and manage work plans and budgets to ensure up-to-date program reporting.
