The Grove School is seeking a full-time high school social science teacher to teach grades 9-12. The Grove School community expects teachers to have a strong command of the content, be able to communicate content to and have high expectations for students, work collaboratively with colleagues and administration, and be a mature and positive adult who can mentor adolescents. Training or background in Montessori education is preferred, but regardless of Montessori training, all applicants need to have experience working with, a respect for, and understanding of adolescents. The Grove School is a top performing and nationally recognized Montessori charter school with a dynamic and engaged learning community. At Grove, teachers and administration work together to improve the school every year in both whole school and individual practices.
