Requirements / Qualifications
First Aid/CPR certificate issued by the American Red Cross EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education and/or experience, which demonstrates that the individual is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge and abilities may be considered. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of college (48 semester units) OR AA degree (or higher), OR must pass the Proficiency Test for Instructional Aides (No Child Left Behind exam). **NOTE: Internal applicants need NOT provide the documents above provided their current position meet minimum qualifications (for example, positions requiring university units must already be on file with the District). The provision of a letter of introduction and / or resume is recommended but not required.
