The Principal serves as the team leader for all aspects of the instructional program, works with the administrative team in the development of human resources and in directing school operations, and is highly involved in the acitivities of students, staff and the school community.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: Teaching or other relevant educational experience, K-8 preferred. Appropriate California Administrative Credential (including a Teaching or Pupil Personnel Services Credential). Leadership experience demonstrating readiness to serve the school and district. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to build and maintain a positive school culture. Ability to understand and utilize data to assist with decision-making. Master’s Degree preferred. Spanish fluency desirable. Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to the first day of employment at a cost of $62 to the employee.

The Principal is responsible for performing all duties related to the direction and effectiveness of the overall school program including oversight of the school’s instructional programs, supervision of staff, managing resources, ensuring student safety and advancement of the district’s Vision, Mission and Beliefs. The Principal understands the importance of their school as being an integral part of the community.
Salary:
$91,659 to $116,159 (22-23 schedule) + $500 Annual for Master’s Degree (Placement based on experience)
