Open Position: Summer Program Principal Rate $65.00hr Dates/Time: June 15 to July 28, 2023 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Location: This position will be site Principal for the in person De Anza Academy program classes at a local middle school. Candidates must also possess valid credentials in basic first aid and CPR as of May 15, 2023 (hired candidate will be reimbursed for fees paid to obtain basic first aid and CPR credentials).

Requirements / Qualifications
1. A current California Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility (Admin Svs)
2. A current California Credential with appropriate EL Authorization
3. Resumé
4. Three letters of recommendation (current and dated within a year of date of posting)
5. Successful experience working with TK-8 children preferred
6. A minimum of three years successful teaching experience in a public school working with diverse socioeconomic and multi-ethnic students.

We consider a variety of factors when considering new classes and instructors including: the area of your expertise, your passion and enthusiasm, experience in teaching (desired although not required), the demand in our community for your specialty and your industry credentials. For instructors proposing a teacher-based, business or career training program, experience and credentialing is required. Instructors may either be classified as independent contractors or employees depending on the instructional services they provide and manner in which they provide those services.
