Who We Are Located in Champaign, IL, Montessori School of Champaign Urbana (MSCU) occupies two acres of land including a primary building, and one that is currently being used for upper Elementary. Because of its growth over the last few years, our lower elementary has grown considerably and is in a rented space in a neighboring building. The school consists of flower and vegetable gardens that the students maintain, a natural playspace, and several smaller classroom based playgrounds. MSCU currently has 160 students, 10 full-time Montessori trained teachers, and 19 supporting teachers enrolled for the 22-23 school year. Your Role We are looking for a leader to join our passionate and collaborative community who shares our passion for the Montessori method and who has the talent and perseverance required to grow enrollment, attract and retain great staff, build a strong parent community, and ensure the educational experience for each child in every classroom is of the highest standard. As the Head of School, you'll be responsible for providing leadership to the entire campus team.
