Position Summary The System of Support-Vital Signs is responsible for providing timely and accurate training on how to obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs and health risk factors as well as how to assess disease condition. In order to be successful in this position, the SOS-Vital Signs must be aware of the latest guidelines and updates. Primary Role and Responsibilities • Build positive and professional relationships with coworkers, supervisors, ProYouth executive and administrative staff. • Conducting training sessions students. • Maintain accurate records regarding student progress through attendance logs, course assignments and other pertinent documentation. • Participate as a positive team member for the purpose of enhancing and sharing knowledge and skills for the delivery of best practices. • Preparing lesson plans, class schedules, and materials needed for classes. • Teach techniques to students followed by practical application of the following skills: o Sterilizing instruments o Vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned. 4 total Hours per week, Twice a week

Education and Experience • High School diploma or equivalent and, • A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field , such as nursing, physical therapy, or exercise science preferred. • 1 Year of experience as a Caregiver preferred. • 1 Year or more of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant • Certification in CPR, first aid and AED from the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross or other certifying body

- Proof of HS Graduation (High School Diploma/High School Transcript)

General Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check
• Must receive TB clearance
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• If using personal vehicle for travel, a valid California Driver License and proof of adequate auto insurance coverage is required.
