Job Summary
Under supervision of the site administrator, the teacher is responsible for providing a sound educational program utilizing the most effective instructional and motivational techniques to carry out the District's mission and curriculum. Teachers are expected to aspire to excellence in all areas specified by the California Standards for the Teaching Profession. The teacher must maintain a safe, caring, student-centered environment that promotes high academic and ethical standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess a Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service to students with Mild/Moderate Disability; Possess or be eligible for a BCLAD / CLAD
Applicants must include all documents to be considered for the hiring process: -Copy of Transcript (Proof of Bachelor of Arts Degree from an accredited college or university ) -Credential Copy (CLAD/BCLAD Credential ) -Letter of Introduction -Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters required) -Resume -TB Screening Result Fingerprint Clearance and TB Results are required prior to the First Day of Employment.

The District will accept up to 5 years of previous, full-time service in accredited public or private schools. A full year of service must be at least 75% of the year in a full-time position.
Bilingual/Biliterate ability in English/Spanish desired.
The District must consider fully qualified candidates first, Intern eligible candidates should apply but may only be considered once all fully qualified candidates have been vetted.
