Coastal Christian Academy is looking for an experienced person to fill the position of Elementary School Principal. We are a small K-8th grade school located in the Clairemont area of San Diego. CCA’s Principal must attend a bible believing church regularly, have a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ, and live according to biblical principles so as to provide a model of excellence in Christian living. The Principal advances the school's mission to disciple, educate and prepare students for actively spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ by being ambassadors as is stated in our school verse - 2 Corinthians 5:20. *Application Deadline: 5-5-23 The principal oversees all the operations of CCA including but not limited to: * Organizational structure and school policies * Planning and implementation of student discipleship programs * Hiring and managing staff * Daily office tasks * Communication with staff, students, parents, school board and the church/landlord * Budget development * Curriculum development * Marketing and promotion of school * Assisting office manager and accountant * Fundraising and event planning * Community events * Provide counsel and oversight of the preschool * Etc. Required skills * Demonstrates strong servant leadership skills * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing * Able to prioritize tasks, delegate appropriately and demonstrate effective time management skills * Able to handle difficult situations with a high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality * Possess the necessary level of computer skills * Able to effectively manage a school budget Feel free to visit our website at - coastalsd.org Credential Requirements: 3-5 years of experience teaching in elementary Christian education.
