Under the direction of Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services, create, plan, organize, coordinate and oversee programs and staff to support and promote positive student engagement and maximize positive outcomes in district educational programs and academic achievement.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Education Required: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in a related field required; Doctorate desirable. Experience Required: Experiences in the provision of clinical mental health services, counseling, psychology and/or administrative experience required; Successful experience in Student Support Services, specifically in the area of Mental Health, (district office and/or school site) experience desirable. Minimum three (3) years of successful certificated experience working with students in a school setting. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required: Valid Administrative Services Credential required; Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential desirable, Current California licensure as Licensed Psychologist, LMFT, LPCC or LCSW preferred. Valid CA Driver’s License and evidence of insurability; Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, negative pre-employment drug screen test/negative TB test results (upon hire).
