Job Summary

The Director of Equity and Improvement is directly responsible to the Associate Superintendent, Learning Support Services, and provides oversight and support for the implementation of Poway Unified School District’s Comprehensive Plan for Prioritizing Racial Equity and Inclusion. -Plans, organizes and supports equity focused professional learning for all staff in alignment with the Racial Equity and Inclusion Plan. -Develops high leverage approaches to professional development for the purpose of improving staff’s capacity to deliver on the district’s racial equity goals. -Facilitates parent and community meetings focused on racial equity and inclusion in order to foster relational trust and improvement efforts. Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: A record of successful teaching experience and a minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible and successful experience in an administrative position, preferably including experience as a site principal. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: A minimum of Master’s Degree and possession of a California administrative services credential is required. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS (Please Attach): • Current Resume • Letter of Intent • Copy of California Administrative Services Credential • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed within the last 12 months (it is recommended that at least one (1) come from an immediate supervising administrator.
