Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent or designee, the job of Educational Specialist Administrator is done for the purpose/s of managing and providing leadership in operations; coordination and oversight of the Special Education Department including the District Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS) in accordance with federal, state and district policies. Ensuring compliance to establish policies that align with state and federal program guidelines; and addressing a variety of administrative needs and processes.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of full-time teaching and/or Administrative and/or Pupil Personnel experience in the area of Special Education. Holds one of the following: • Valid Teaching Credential authorizing service in Special Education,or a valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential Must also hold: • Valid California Administrative Services Credential

The following documents must be submitted with the application in order to be considered: - Resume - Three (3) Letters of Recommendation signed and dated within six (6) months - Copy of Credentials - Copy of Transcripts
