Job Summary
This position provides a productive, personalized learning educational environment for students both in the classroom and as independent study that incorporates the attainment of the California State Standards. Is a collaborative participant in department and school-level professional learning communities; and stays current with research-based instructional delivery and planning.Under general supervision, oversee the academic and character education of students assigned in collaboration with the student’s family, and provides an educational program for each students that includes an independent study piece and a productive classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth and to address the needs and interests of each student.
Requirements / Qualifications
Start Date - Immediately WHITE TRACK - 6TH GRADE Verification of years of service (step placement) - Credit will be given for up to all years of verified full-time service. The Executive Director or designee may add years of experience as is related to the particular assignment. Employee has one day a week they work from home to do prep. The Educational Advisor only teachers two days per week to students in-person. Minimum Qualifications: • Valid California Preliminary or Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential • EL Authorization
