We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Technician position located at our campus in Temecula, CA. Under direction, the Network Technician reports to the Network Supervisor and/or the Dean of Information Technology. The Network Technician installs and maintains low voltage cabling and troubleshoots networking issues. The Network Technician satisfies tier 2 networking support issues. The Network Technician installs and maintains network equipment, client endpoint equipment and other networked devices. The Network Technician configures network software, monitors network logs, and monitors application logs. Attention to detail, time management, problem solving, and task management skills are required to successfully complete the duties and tasks of the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. Current CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCNP, or CCIE certificate (*attach certificate); OR 2. C-7 license; OR 3. Associates Degree (attach transcript) or Certificate in Networking (attach certificate); AND 4. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, and photograph*** DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Professional experience installing low voltage cabling
