Job Summary
Under the direction of the assigned administrator, the Capital Outlay Analyst provides advanced support in the administration and analysis of complex financial, budget and accounting functions in connection with capital facility funds. This position supports the daily financial operations of the District’s capital outlay program including all budgeting, accounting and reporting systems associated with assigned projects. The Capital Outlay Analyst is also responsible for maintaining the fiscal accountability of District funds related to federal, county and state mandated requirements and reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: Equivalent to graduation from high school. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: Thirty (30) college units in accounting, business, or related field with extensive technical knowledge in budgeting and financial accounting. Training in laws and regulations pertaining to state facility programs/planning. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible accounting experience involving the review, maintenance and adjustment of a variety of budgets, funds and accounts DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: Experience working in a school district or county office of education. Experience with the California State Facilities Program. PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT (At Employee Cost): - Physical - TB Clearance - Fingerprinting PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES.
