Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of School, the Director, Early Childhood Center (DECC) creates and champions the vision, strategy and success of the SDJA Early Childhood Center. Utilizing a deep understanding of learning and child development, the Director enriches and innovated the Early Childhood program, putting the child at the center of SDJA's educational experience. As part of SDJA's Senior Leadership Team, the Director offers engaged solutions to challenges the ECC or broader school may encounter, leverages strong business skills to attract new families and retain current ones, and is a collaborative team player with the ability to communicate transparently, thoughtfully, and directly. The Director ensures that parents are offered a high-quality choice in early childhood education and ensures that every child is prepared for a smooth transition in to Kindergarten - all in a nurturing, creative, fun and developmentally appropriate environment. The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $130,000. The offer to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience, training, practical knowledge, and education.
