Requirements / Qualifications

Under general direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services, the Director II of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is responsible for the development and oversight of all areas of the AVUHSD’s MTSS Framework that supports the whole student. The Director is responsible for collaborating with all educational partners to establish and implement a tiered, data-driven framework to meet the needs of every student through academic, behavioral, and social-emotional learning supports and interventions that ensures an equitable educational environment. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Completion of a Master’s Degree or higher including all courses to meet credentialing requirements Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of successful administrative experience with increasing responsibility. Knowledge: A broad working knowledge of organizational management practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of programs, policies and operational needs. Credential: A valid teaching credential. A valid California Administrative Credential. Original copies of certain documents will be required to be produced at the time of offer of position.
