St. Vincent de Paul High School is seeking a dynamic and innovative High School Science Teacher to join our team of passionate educators. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing a challenging and engaging learning experience for our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong science background, excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality NGSS-aligned science lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and engagement Create and administer assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians. Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance instruction and student learning. Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student success and achieve school-wide goals. Accompany students in Catholic faith formation activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry or related field (Master's degree and/or credential preferred but not required) Experience teaching high school science (2+ years preferred) Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school staff, and a commitment to the Catholic mission of SVHS.
