Job Summary

Job Summary

The Instructional Coach will support teachers in implementing the Summit Learning curriculum and facilitating student-centered, project-based learning in the classroom. The Instructional Coach will work with teachers to develop and refine their instructional practices, as well as provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities. The Instructional Coach will also work with school and district leadership to ensure alignment with the current curriculum (Summit Learning approach) and to support the implementation of the program. Responsibilities: -Provide ongoing support and professional development to teachers on the Summit Learning curriculum, including project-based learning, student-centered learning, and the use of technology in the classroom -Collaborate with teachers to develop and refine their instructional practices and to support student learning -Complete regular observation and feedback sessions with teachers -Collaborate and plan with school and district leadership to ensure alignment with the Summit Learning approach and to support the implementation of the program -Collect and analyze data to inform instruction and make recommendations for improvement -Attend all Summit professional development and training sessions to stay current on best practices in education and the Summit Learning curriculum -Design and implement professional development programs for teachers Where applicable, be an induction coach -Coaching Summit teachers in the organization, modeling and co-teaching when appropriate, and observing and providing feedback to teachers to improve practice, and supporting Site Directors in their observations and feedback -This position will require travel to Aspen Public Schools throughout Fresno, CA Qualifications/Skills: -Bachelor's degree in education or related field -Valid teaching certification -Experience teaching in a student-centered, project-based learning environment -Experience with the Summit Learnin
