Basic Function: Receives general supervision from the Summer Program Director. Performs a wide variety of summer camp duties leading to the successful implementation of summer camp actirvities. Insures camper safety by following mandated safety procedures.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Receives general supervision from the Summer Program Director. Performs a wide variety of summer camp duties leading to the successful implementation of summer camp activities. Insures camper safety by following mandated safety procedures.
EDUCATION:
Graduation from High School
EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities will be considered to be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Successful completion of the Junior Counselor training program at Foothill Horizons OR previous experience in another summer camp OR outdoor school program as a staff member OR previous experience at Foothill Horizons as a staff member.
LICENSE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must obtain a valid First Aid & CPR certification during first week of employment.
If applying for Lifeguard then Lifeguard Certification will be required.
All applicants must be High School Graduates.
(If under the age of 18 years old, a Work Permit will be required).
