Job Summary

Job Summary

The Butte County Office of Education Migrant Education Program (Region 2) seeks to establish a team of part-time teachers who will deliver rigorous supplemental instruction to Migrant-eligible students throughout Region 2. Teachers hired for this work will participate in a distance-learning model of instruction, which combines both synchronous and asynchronous elements, to meet state-required instructional minutes of intervention in before- and/or after-school settings. Intervention programming will focus on English Language Arts and Math using pre-defined standards-based curriculum. These services include culminating events such as Family Math/Family Literacy Nights, delivered via distance learning platforms.

Requirements / Qualifications

1. Valid and unexpired California teaching credential authorizing instruction of students (as appropriate for the specific assignment) 2. Valid and unexpired English Learner authorization (e.g. CLAD, BCLAD or SDAIE)
